It is an essential reference for anyone considering going solo. While the primary focus is directed to the nurse marketing his/her services to healthcare facilities, information and ideas are included for nurse entrepreneurs.
Examples Booklet ($24.95)
This essential package, compiled by NAIN directors, contains examples of documents that will be useful to the beginning independent contractor. Included are a sample business plan for the beginning independent contractor, a sample contract to be used when contracting with healthcare facilities, and samples of a time sheet, rate and terms sheet, and invoice. The packet also shows an example of letterheads, envelopes, and business cards. You can customize these forms and contracts to your own use, but they will provide a wealth of ideas and a substantial savings in originating these forms. While this packet is primarily for the independent contractor, all independent nurses should find it useful.
